Ms Dewey, good use of Flash video and very funny indeed.

As many of you will know, Macromedia is now shipping Studio 8. I have downloaded the tryout version and all I can say is that after playing a bit with them, I have uninstalled MX2004 forever. Studio 8 loads at full speed (almost 4-5 seconds to load Flash 8), and all the new features are worth the time they save you... If you were thinking to give them a try, I advice you not to try but to begin to work with it and forget previous versions.

I hope Flash 8 or Flash MX2006 is not far from been finished, but please Macromedia, don't be in a rush this time.
Keita Kitamura & Yugo Nakamura have created a really original way of searching for books, music and videos using the Amazon web services. When you search by title, it shows you all the books which has that word, displaying it in a collage the shape the word you typed.
I think it could be more clear if you check it yourself, one image is worth one thousand words ;)
Have you ever tried to simulate a HTML table in your Flash proyect? It can be a pain in the ass and if you want it to load dinamically it was almost frustrating.
Well, I have managed to find a quick and easy solution to this problem. The swf file below loads a HTML file into flash and displays it in two columns. How?
Well, I had to use the tag "textformat" with tabstops to simulate the columns.

As this is HTML is easier to update as you don't have to open Flash. You can also style the html, using custom tags and the CSS capabilities of Flash. Here it's the source code of the app:
